The new apra-KNIFF desktop enclosure combines the advantages of a classic subrack with the sleek look of a desktop enclosure thanks to its combination of metal and plastic – available in any size and color. The robust construction made of aluminum profile rails is ideal for installing 19-inch components, which are securely protected by the aluminum cover plates. The elegant design of the side panels absorbs shocks and vibrations, giving the desktop enclosure a high level of durability. The ventilated version of the apra-KNIFF achieves IP20 protection, while the sealed version achieves IP40. The standard dimensions of the enclosure are 3U and 4U with 42/63/84 HP and depths of 296 and 356 mm. The apra-KNIFF can be freely scaled in all dimensions upon customer request. The front and rear panels can be fitted with full-length or partial front panels and can be individually machined and printed. Optional handles for comfortable handling or stacking adapters offer that extra touch. Your design options are also extremely flexible. The range of colors for the powder-coated, fine-textured aluminum sheets is extensive: Choose from RAL 9005, 9011, 9006, 7035, and many more. The plastic side panels and handles are made of solid-colored sheet material or decorative foils, such as brushed aluminum. Front panels and covers are mounted without visible screws. We can also customize all surfaces with digital printing.

We are happy to calculate the exact desiccant requirement for you. Important for the calculation are a) the storage & shipping time and b) the water vapour permeability of the barrier layer! Without a high-quality barrier film, desiccants are practically ineffective. Unhindered moisture would saturate and eventually overload the dry packaging. In contrast to often unsatisfactory Far East goods, Ströbel offers you German premium quality and certifications. The barrier properties of our films are guaranteed.
