The LVS-9580 is a powerful handheld solution designed for offline barcode verification for compliance with ISO/IEC/MIL-STD-130N standards. Using its high-resolution 5.0-megapixel camera, the LVS-9580 reads and analyzes linear (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) codes up to 7.62 cm wide and 5.72 cm high. The LVS-9580 verifies a wide variety of barcode types, including any combination of linear, matrix (e.g., DataMatrix, QR codes, and Aztec codes), stacked codes (e.g., PDF 417, Micro PDF, and composite codes), and 1D and 2D direct part mark (DPM) codes. Equipped with a 3 m USB 2.0 cable, the LVS-9580 is suitable for inspecting barcode labels on a wide variety of surfaces, including plastics, corrugated boxes, shipping containers, and metal surfaces. The LVS-9580 is 21 CFR Part 11-compliant for standards-compliant inspection and validates direct-to-print mark (DPM) codes according to ISO, MIL-STD-130, and GS1 standards. For linear (1D) codes, it can inspect all nine ISO (ANSI) parameters, with additional features for defect detection and visual readability testing. The LVS-9580 can also inspect 2D codes (including multi-line and matrix codes) and reports all parameters according to the applicable ISO/IEC specification. Analysis results are color-coded to accurately identify problem areas within the barcode. You can then analyze the relevant sections of the barcode and directly determine appropriate remedial actions.

3-D-Print creates compact drives
3D PRINTING FOR COMPACT COMPLETE DRIVES 3D-printed parts are being successfully used in an increasing number of applications. GERDT SEEFRID GmbH is now using this highly flexible manufacturing method in series production to adapt electronic components to its DC/BLDC motors. This enables cost-effective solutions, particularly for customized solutions in small to medium quantities. For example, optical encoders can be mounted precisely and quickly on the motors or, as in a current project, a motor controller can be mounted and pre-wired directly on the back of a motor's gearbox. The housing and adapters are developed specifically for the project, are easy to assemble, and can also be adapted to other in-house motors with minor modifications. The customer thus receives a fully prepared drive "out of the box" and, after mechanically assembling the motor, only needs to attach the wiring. The drive system is then immediately ready for use.

3D Sensors
3D sensors perform three-dimensional completeness, dimensional accuracy and surface checks. They enable the control of robots, for example in depalletization or bin picking applications. The camera-based 3D sensors work in accordance with the structured light principle. They project several light patterns onto the components to be detected; a camera in the sensor records these light patterns and digitizes the components into a 3D point cloud. The method allows you to create complete 3D point clouds of stationary objects in a single shot. The extremely fast calculation of the point cloud takes place directly in the sensor. Software development kits (SDK) or standardized interfaces such as GigE Vision are used for easy integration. The different models are equipped with a high-resolution camera with a resolution of 5 or 12 MP. Six selectable measuring ranges and extensive accessories ensure perfect integration into industrial systems – both in factory automation and intralogistics.
