The BOXEXPERT Fleet series offers a cost-effective alternative to heavy and expensive control cabinets made of sheet steel. The housings are made of lightweight acrylonitrile butadiene styrene copolymer (ABS), which results in a weight saving of approximately 50% compared to sheet steel. Despite their low weight, the Fleet housings are robust and have an impact resistance of IK08.
The ABS plastic shows high resistance to alkali, oils and salts and is corrosion-resistant without additional coating. The Fleet series is equipped with a foamed polyurethane seal that provides an effective seal against external influences. This seal is low-wear, robust against weather and aging, and ensures a protection class of IP65, making the housings suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The pivoting door of the housing, available in gray or transparent, has a door lock with a triangular key as standard to protect against unauthorized access. As an option, each Fleet housing can be equipped with a special security lock to further increase security.
The housings offer plenty of space for mounting various electronic components. A mounting plate made of galvanized steel and special mounting brackets for wall mounting are included in the accessories. These enable easy assembly of the components outside the housing, which can then be attached to the housing together with the plate. All necessary screws are also included.
