BOXEXPERT presents the Michel series, plastic housings made of ABS for mechanical engineering, which offer maximum flexibility thanks to a modular height concept. The waterproof housing with TPE seal achieves IP66/67 protection, ensuring complete protection for electrical installations in demanding environments, both indoors and outdoors. The robust and halogen-free plastic is weather-resistant, UV-resistant and resistant to extreme temperatures (-40°C to +80°C). With an impact resistance of IK08, the housing can withstand extreme environmental conditions such as hail, frost or extreme heat.
The modular height concept of the Michel series allows different cover heights for the same footprint, ideal for installations beyond the standard. This offers a flexible solution without having to switch to a larger housing.
The housing series offers metric knockouts on the sides of the lower housing part or smooth housing walls for individual assembly of cable glands. The pre-stamped holes can be opened without special tools, while smooth housing walls enable a high-quality look and individual positioning of the cable entries.
The accessories include mounting screws for easy installation of DIN rails or mounting plates without having to work on the bottom of the housing. Mounting plates, DIN rails (TS15 or TS35), wall mounting tabs and hinges are also available.
