Sales Operations Specialist - Customer Analysis (m/f/d)

You will systematically analyze existing and prospective customers, identify revenue potential, and prepare relevant data for the sales team. Through structured analysis, you will segment customers by industry and needs, and qualify contacts for targeted outreach. You will also monitor market and competitive developments and derive sales opportunities from your insights. In close collaboration with the field sales team, you will optimize customer engagement and maintain all data in the CRM system.

You have a commercial background or a comparable qualification, ideally with initial experience in sales, as well as strong analytical skills. A structured, self-driven work style, high affinity for data, and a team-oriented mindset set you apart.

Your Responsibilities

- Conduct systematic analysis of existing and prospective customers to identify revenue potential
- Perform structured evaluation of customer data to support the sales process
- Segment customers by industry, needs, and growth potential
- Prepare and pre-qualify leads for targeted cold outreach
- Monitor market and competitive developments to derive sales opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the field sales team to optimize customer engagement
- Maintain and update customer data in the CRM system
- Support the further development of sales strategies and initiatives

Your Profile

- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in sales or inside sales is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of sales dynamics
- Structured, self-driven working style with a high affinity for data
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Customer-focused thinking with a solid business acumen
- High level of accuracy, reliability, and organizational skills
