Key Account Manager – Wind Energy & Automation Technology (w/m/d)

This role acts as a central interface between our key customers, engineering teams and product management to ensure innovative, efficient and reliable automation solutions that meet the requirements of our partners in the wind energy industry.

Your responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining partnerships with strategic customers in the wind energy sector
- Identifying new business opportunities and expanding the market position in turbine automation, control, SCADA, and monitoring systems
- Serving as the point of contact for customers in the field of wind energy automation throughout Europe - Close collaboration with internal departments (Engineering, R&D, Project Management) and supporting customer-specific development of automation solutions
- Leading contract negotiations and coordinating project implementation
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and technological developments in the renewable energy and automation sectors
- Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs

What you bring to the table:
- A degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, energy technology, or a comparable technical qualification
- At least five years of professional experience in key account management, sales, or business development in the energy technology or industrial automation sector
- Sound knowledge of automation and control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA, communication protocols)
- A good understanding of the renewable energy market, ideally in the wind energy and grid integration sectors
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Negotiation skills in dealing with technical and commercial contacts
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken; knowledge of other European languages ​​is an advantage
- Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe (approx. 40–50%)
