About us
NIMMSTA is the manufacturer of the world’s first Industrial Smart Watch for logistics and intralogistics, enabling hands-free workflows that significantly increase efficiency and ergonomics in warehouse operations. Founded in Munich in 2019 by Florian Ruhland and Andreas Funkenhauser, the founders and CEOs of AFR Engineering GmbH, NIMMSTA was created based on their extensive experience in developing industrial PCs and logistics hardware at Datalogic.
Today, NIMMSTA positions itself as “The Intralogistics Process Solution” by combining innovative wearable hardware with intelligent software and process expertise. At the core of the solution is the NIMMSTA ecosystem consisting of the Industrial Smart Watch, the Productivity Cloud for KPI monitoring and process transparency, and the optional Light Tag pick-by-light system.
The Process Solution makes logistics processes visible, measurable and controllable — from picking and sorting to inventory and complex material flows. By guiding workers step-by-step directly on the wearable display, NIMMSTA helps companies reduce errors to nearly zero while increasing productivity by up to 65%.
