DUALIS GmbH IT Solution
About us
Flexible, precise, and future‑oriented – this is what DUALIS GmbH IT Solution stands for. Founded in 1990 and part of the Dürr Group, we provide software solutions and consulting services for production planning and optimization, ranging from GANTTPLAN APS and AREAPLAN to 3D manufacturing simulation and offline robot programming (OLP) with Visual Components.
Since 2006, DUALIS has been an authorized reseller of the Visual Components platform for manufacturing simulation and offline robot programming. As a specialist in factory planning and simulation, we support our customers end-to-end – from the initial concept and project management through to tailored implementation. Our focus is on successful real-world application: with our own add-ons and customized solutions, we extend Visual Components and adapt the platform to specific requirements.

Manufacturing Simulation
3D Simulation and Analysis of Production Systems With Visual Components, you can simulate and analyze complete manufacturing and assembly processes in a realistic 3D environment. Production layouts, material flows, resources, and cycle times are modeled, evaluated, and optimized virtually—long before real systems are built or modified. This provides full transparency into production performance, enables early identification of bottlenecks, and supports well‑founded decisions for planning, reconfiguration, and investment. Key Benefits: - Realistic 3D simulation of complete manufacturing systems - Early detection of bottlenecks and resource overloads - Validation of layouts, processes, and cycle times - Comparison of different production and scenario alternatives - Reduction of planning risks and costly misinvestments Core Features: - Import of 3D CAD layouts and equipment - Simulation of manufacturing, assembly, and material flow processes - Modeling of resources, buffers, and lead times - Analysis of utilization, throughput, and bottlenecks - Variant and scenario comparison - Clear visualization to support communication and decision‑making Typical Application Areas: - Factory and layout planning - Production and assembly planning - Capacity and cycle time analysis - Evaluation of expansions and system modifications Target Groups: - Factory and production planners - Manufacturing and process engineers, industrial engineers, - Production managers - System integrators - Technical Sales / Pre-Sales

Offline Robot Programming
With the Visual Components OLP Suite, industrial robots are programmed offline, directly on a PC and based on your 3D CAD data. Robot programs are created, simulated, and optimized virtually without interrupting ongoing production and are then transferred to the physical robot. This reduces programming effort, minimizes downtime, and increases manufacturing flexibility, independent of robot manufacturer and application. Your Benefits with Visual Components OLP: - Up to 80% shorter programming time (application‑dependent) - No production interruption during programming - Simulation and collision checking prior to commissioning - Up to 10× faster program creation through automated functions - Reusable programs for product variants and changeovers - Low training effort thanks to a unified user interface for multiple robot brands and processes Functions and Capabilities: - Import of 3D CAD data - Support for more than 40 robot controllers - 18 postprocessors for manufacturer‑specific robot programs - One‑click programming for selected applications - Automatic path and motion optimization - Realistic, time‑based simulation including reach and collision checking Typical Applications: - Technology‑based processes - Welding (e.g. spot and arc welding) - Machining (milling, deburring, grinding) - Painting and coating - Fixtureless assembly - Part handling and assembly operations Typical Use Cases: - Virtual commissioning of new robot cells - Product changeovers and high product variability - Lot size 1 and highly flexible manufacturing - Coordination of multiple robots - Integration of additional automation equipment Target Groups: - Robot programmers - Manufacturing and automation engineers - Production managers - Robotics and automation managers - System integrators and machine builders

Mobile Robots Add‑on for Visual Components
Simulation of AGVs and AMRs in Material Flow (incl. fleet and traffic policies) The Mobile Robots Add‑on for the Visual Components simulation plattform enables realistic simulation of AGVs and AMRs within your production and logistics environment. Plan, analyze, and optimize material flows, routes, traffic rules, and fleet concepts at an early planning stage, based on your real layouts and 3D CAD data. Your Benefits: - Realistic simulation of AGVs and AMRs within the factory layout - Prevention of bottlenecks and collisions before implementation - Validation of routes, handover points, and charging zones - Comparison of different vehicle types and fleet strategies - Sound decision‑making basis for investments in mobile robotics Core Features: - Library of mobile robots (AGV, AMR) and fleet/infrastructure elements - Parameterizable vehicle properties (speed, acceleration, payload, dimensions) - Definition of routes, zones, and restricted areas - Modeling of traffic rules and priorities (e.g. intersections, bidirectional traffic, bottlenecks) - Simulation of charging and transfer stations - Integration with production and logistics processes - Visualization of utilization, waiting times, and bottlenecks - Comparison of different layout and fleet variants Typical Application Areas: - Planning and dimensioning of AGV/AMR systems - Material supply for assembly and production lines - Transition from manual transport to mobile robotics - Scaling existing fleets with growth in volume Target Groups: - Factory and layout planners - Logistics and production engineers - Automation managers - System integrators
