
PicAS II EBS-1600
The PicAS II EBS-1600 from EBS Ink-Jet Systeme is a state-of-the-art drop-on-demand marking system designed for industrial applications. This large-character printer combines many years of expertise in piezo inkjet technology with robust engineering, high flexibility and ease of use. Thanks to its robust construction and IP54 protection rating, the system operates reliably even under demanding conditions – such as in the presence of dust, moisture or temperature fluctuations. A shock-resistant print head further ensures high operational reliability in everyday production. The modular design allows for the separate installation of the print head and controller, facilitating integration into existing production lines – even where space is limited. E-Link technology combines power supply and data transmission in a single cable, thereby reducing cabling requirements. The cartridge-based ink system also eliminates the need for ink lines, simplifying maintenance and cleaning. Another advantage is the quick commissioning: the pre-configured system is ready for use in less than ten minutes without the need for a technician or special tools. Cartridge replacement is clean and takes just a few seconds, minimising downtime. The system is operated via a 10.1-inch TFT touchscreen with an intuitive user interface and graphical print preview. Key information such as ink levels, production data and system status can be clearly viewed at any time. Multiple user and access levels also allow for customised rights management. Various printhead variants and a 5-stage adjustable printhead system are available for different applications. Furthermore, the PicAS II EBS-1600 can be easily integrated into production lines, databases and existing IT structures, thereby supporting modern, networked manufacturing processes.

Pick & Place Modules
LinMot's Pick & Place modules are standardised multi-axis systems consisting of the proven DM01 and DM03 direct drives, which act as dynamic X and Z axes. Both axes can be controlled independently of each other, enabling highly flexible pick & place applications. Precision shafts guided by linear ball bearings ensure accurate linear motion. The rounded surfaces of the housing also facilitate maintenance and cleaning of the modules. Thanks to the choice of materials and design principle, the drive units have a high bending stiffness with a comparatively low moving mass. The DM03 modules are equipped with a MagSpring® to relieve the vertical axis and passively compensate for the resulting weight. In terms of performance, users benefit from a force range of up to 360 N and strokes of up to 275 mm. With accelerations of up to 50 m/s2 and a maximum speed of 7 m/s, the required applications can be implemented very dynamically. Each pick & place module is delivered to the customer fully assembled and does not need to be assembled from individual parts. In addition, the modular design of the system allows it to be quickly adapted to customer requirements. The 'LinMot Designer' simulation software, available online at any time, ensures the correct selection and design of the modules. Plug and play technology allows the user to put the system into operation immediately. The required type parameters do not have to be selected manually, but are read in automatically by the servo drive.

Piece-Picking-cells
The cell processes KLTs ranging in size from 300 × 400 × 70 mm to 600 × 400 × 320 mm with a handling weight of up to 50 kg. The maximum stacking height, including floor rollers (400 x 600 x 160 mm), is 1,350 mm. The small load carriers (KLTs) are handled at approximately 400 cycles per hour. With a double handle, up to 800 KLTs per hour are possible. Sliding doors made of safety glass ensure optimal accessibility with minimal space requirements, complemented by an integrated AGV safety gate. Reversing the process flow is also possible, allowing the cell to be used for the automated loading of floor trolleys.
