The high accuracy, robust magnetic field sensor technology, and flexible interfaces enable versatile applications in drive and automation technology. How it works: The diametrical magnet generates a magnetic field that changes with rotation in the plane of the direction of rotation. Sensors continuously detect the magnetic field direction, enabling precise angle determination with high resolution. In the multiturn system, an integrated energy harvesting chip counts the revolutions and stores them even in the event of a brief interruption in the power supply.
