      Via the “functionally safe” radio connection, the M2Smart® HMI10 makes it possible to meet the high requirements in terms of safety equipment of a machine even with a wireless operating system. Both the emergency stop button, which is obligatory in this environment, and a three-stage enabling switch are located directly on the mobile HMI device. The corresponding signals are packaged in an encrypted “data packet” and transmitted to the M2Smart® Gateway via a Black Channel using Bluetooth. The M2Smart® HMI10 is also available as a wired version with 5 meters, optionally 10 meters.

Both the emergency stop button, which is obligatory in this environment, and a three-stage enabling switch are located directly on the handheld and the corresponding signals, packaged in an encrypted “data packet”, are transmitted via Bluetooth to the M2Smart® Gateway, which takes over the transfer of the data to the machine. A major focus here is on the usability of the system.
