Identical in design and function to the traditional 7012 device, this unit is made of stainless steel for applications requiring rust free installation. Torque capacity is somewhat reduced due to the nature of stainless steel.

Lockout-tagout The term lockout-tagout stands for maintenance blocking systems and includes planned safety measures for switching off the energy supply to industrial machines and systems during maintenance and servicing work. These measures protect workers from dangers posed by running machines, stored energy or electrical current. Through our own safety engineers with approval for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Schärer+Kunz supports, for example, the legally compliant implementation of government regulations. Schärer+Kunz supports you all the way from planning to implementing a lockout-tagout system in your company. We take the steps to create guidelines and procedures for energy control at your systems. We support you in evaluating existing risk assessments or create them for you upon request. We will then work with you to determine all the required energy control points. We ensure that these energy control points are clearly marked. Now we equip your authorized employees or the respective machines with the correct and appropriate shut-off and warning devices. Finally, we train your employees for you, create awareness of safe working practices through Lockout-Tagout (LoTo) and accompany the entire introductory phase. Schärer+Kunz is a specialist in the creation and implementation of logout-tagout boards, so-called shadow boards. This perfectly combines your organization of your lockout-tagout processes with your customer-specific design (e.g. also your company logo) and your requirements for dimensions and layout.

Ganter regularly revises its range of standard parts to implement new technical features and respond to changing application requirements. The pneumatic clamps have now received a number of updates aimed primarily at a longer lifespan. Pneumatic clamps are standard elements in jig construction, and Ganter has carried these important fastening systems in its portfolio for some time. The product family has now been reworked – primarily to increase its lifespan and reliability. The most significant improvement concerns the pneumatic cylinder, which now operates with a magnetic piston and has T-slots on the housing. Thanks to this slot, it is now much easier to attach sensors, while the magnetic piston permits more precise querying of the current position by the new, modern sensor GN 3380, which entirely replaces the previous sensors. Of course, other sensors can also be precisely installed in the slot.
