      Protect the cable carrier and cables effectively: The active return mechanism ensures that the cable carrier is safely guided and deposited. With fast movement sequences and large work envelopes, the relatively long carriers knock against the robot arm. The repeated impact significantly reduces the service life of the cable carrier and the cables within, and the entire system can fail. Downtimes cause high costs and problems in the manufacturing process – so they have to be avoided. PBU is available for new robots, regardless of size, manufacturer, type or for a wide range of applications, as well as retrofits and upgrades for existing workcells. It can be mounted vertically, horizontally or upside down.       Schärer+Kunz advises and supplies companies that have their own production facilities or provide services to production plants. During maintenance and repair work, our customers use lockout/tagout procedures to disconnect systems and machines from the power supply. Energy sources are locked (lockout) and marked (tagout) to prevent unintentional activation. Manufacturers offer various custom-fit or universal locking devices for electrical energy sources (circuit breakers, toggle switches, emergency stop switches, NH fuses, screw-in fuses) and mechanical energy sources (handwheels, ball valves, throttle valves, cone valves, gas cylinders). Until now, there has been no suitable locking device for pneumatic shut-off valves. This poses a problem for manufacturing companies that use compressed air when developing a lockout/tagout (LoTo) concept. With the PVL locking devices, Schärer+Kunz now offers a simple, efficient and precisely fitting solution for locking shut-off valves of the HE series and identical designs – developed for the common sizes 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. The Schärer+Kunz PVL interlocks: - are the first specialized solution for surface-mounted pneumatic valves - are a perfect fit for Festo HE series shut-off valves (HE-2-QS) and are identical in construction - prevent unauthorized or accidental opening or closing of the valve - have a two-way interlock for shutting off the valve in the open or closed position thanks to an intelligent T-recess - increase workplace safety through clarity (visual safety) - are intuitive and can be installed without tools - Manufactured using 3D printing from robust PETG for high impact resistance and chemical resistance, the Schärer+Kunz PVL interlocks are the ideal LoTo complement to prevent unauthorized access to compressed air systems.

      Robuste PW-Schutzfenster für Schaltgehäuse Zum Schutz von Anzeigen, Schalt- und Bedienkomponenten vor Verschmutzung, Nässe und unbefugtem Zugriff führt FIBOX robuste Instrument Protection Windows (PW) mit Abmessungen von 450x400x90 mm sowie 340x300x90 mm im Programm. Die Schutzfenster aus Polycarbonat lassen sich schnell und einfach auf Schaltgehäuse und Pultanlagen verschiedenster Art montieren. Damit bieten sie eine unkomplizierte Alternative zu aufwändig maßgefertigten Lösungen. Beide PW-Modelle bestehen aus einem Rahmen mit durchgehendem Scharnier und einer transparenten Abdeckung. Durch den großen Sichtbereich lassen sich die abgedeckten Schalt-, Anzeige- und Steuerkomponenten auch im geschlossenen Zustand jederzeit gut beobachten. Aufgrund der Innenhöhe von 85 mm werden zum Beispiel auch Schlüsselschalter sicher geschützt. Zur Montage wird der Rahmen einfach um die Bedienelemente angeordnet und innenseitig mit acht Schrauben befestigt. Dabei dichtet der Rahmen ohne weitere Maßnahmen mit dem darunterliegenden Gehäuse rundum sauber ab. Rahmen und Fenster sind rückseitig mit einer eingeschäumten PUR-Dichtung versehen. Die überlappende Konstruktion sorgt für eine erhöhte Festigkeit und Dichtigkeit, so dass bei geschlossenem Fenster eine Schlagfestigkeit von IK09 sowie die Schutzart IP66 bzw. NEMA 4X erreicht werden. Standardmäßig sind die Schutzfenster mit zwei Doppelbartverriegelungen ausgestattet. Auf Wunsch liefert FIBOX die Modelle auch mit Schlössern.
