profiCASE is an economical alternative for panel PCs up to 10" and all types of electronic components. Thanks to its robust design, it is perfectly suited for both modern mechanical engineering and vehicle construction. The integration of genuine hinges without additional effort has been optimally achieved in this series. After ‘hooking’ the covers and securing them with locking screws, they become ‘compact cabinets’. The two profiCASE enclosures are available with the option of rear screw mounting – i.e. without screws visible from the front – (PCD) or with front screw mounting – for example, for direct wall mounting – (PCV). All enclosures have domes in the lower section that offer the option of mounting with VESA 100 while remaining completely sealed. It is also possible to connect them to the profiPLUS and taraSMART suspension arm systems in a standing or hanging configuration.

This new category is particularly suited for the automation of packaging systems. They also offer features that are extremely advantageous in many industrial applications. The new profile linear units are based on precise and especially stable aluminum profiles that can be individually machined. For profile diameter 50, three different guide element drive concepts are available: spindle, synchronous belt or rack-and-pinion. Profile diameter 30 is available with a spindle drive.Depending on the chosen drive concept, additional guide element options are available with respect to the length, clamping capability and the quantity per linear unit.In addition, the guide element’s direction of movement can also be defined. For example, this allows two guide elements to move in the same direction, in opposite directions or independently of each other. In the future, the majority of options listed will be available as standard for ordering via catalog data sheet or online configurator. Many applications can only be optimally implemented with a smart combination of two or more linear units. Profile enclosure - made to measure from 150 to 800 mm Eight enclosure depths: 60, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 240, 300 Handles, keyboard holder, desk solution all available as accessories IP 65 / EN 60529 Thanks to the option of combining the three basic profile depths, profiPANEL enables a total of eight mounting depths to be provided for (PPD 150 is available, as required, as a basic profile or as a profile combination consisting of a 90 mm and a 60 mm basic profile). The connection of 60 or 90 mm deep desk also offers additional options for extended internal mounting. Thanks to this wide range of depths, profiPANEL therefore enables almost every conceivable configuration for the internal mounting of components to be realised. The enclosure front of the profiPANEL system is manufactured made-to-measure and provides for the almost edgeless and flush mounting of a front plate, which is permanently connected to the enclosure. Appropriate cut-outs for a display, switches and more are included in the service provided by ROLEC and are produced ex-works to meet customer specifications. A desk is a clever solution when there’s not enough space in the control enclosure or you need additional buttons. The profiPANEL series therefore includes two desk models, 60 and 90 mm deep (D), for internal mounting. The desk adapter offers plenty of space for routing HDMI or DVI cables or network plugs.

For this, ROLEC engineers have developed the "one-screw adjustment" feature which means the system can be fully adjusted by just a single screw. All system couplings are pre-fitted with a support profile as standard, saving assembly time. The ducts in the interior of the system provide space for multiple cables such as HDMI, DVI and network cables. Cable protectors are integrated into all rotating system elements as standard. Fully integrated electrical bonding protects operators and the machinery. A set screw system in the joints allows adjustment of the pivoting range in 30° steps. For higher loads, a reducer adapter also enables connection of profiPLUS 50 to the larger profiPLUS 70 system.

AGRO's Progress® AgreenO products use the material CuZn21Si3P with a maximum lead content of 0.1%. Sustainability and quality are together an important foundation element for the future. Of course, users of these sustainable and future-oriented products do not have to accept any compromises in terms of performance, quality or reliability. The choice of lead-free CuZn21Si3P as material for the Progress® AgreenO range was preceded by a rigorous evaluation process that lasted several months. The suitability of the material was confirmed by numerous tests in the AGRO testing laboratory. Of course, these products also comply with IEC EN 62444 and UL 514B, and meet the demands of protection classes IP68 / IP69.

Certified cable glands for drinking water applications With the Progress® aqua series, the KAISER Group is the first manufacturer to offer a cable gland which is certified for drinking water applications. For reasons of health and hygiene, lawmakers have tightened the limits worldwide for the substances which drinking water is permitted to contain. In this case we are using lead as an example. Because of the risk to health which lead represents, on December 1, 2013, the limit value for lead was lowered to 10μg/l. Products which are used in the drinking water sector must comply with the requirements specified in the Foodstuffs and Commodities Act and also the Drinking Water Ordinance. The structural and technical condition of a plant and/or components used in the supply of drinking water must meet high quality standards. As a result of the guidelines in the DVGW (the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water), all fittings, devices, components and installation materials used in the distribution of water must consist of authorised materials. This is to ensure that the materials in the water supply do not release any undesirable substances into the drinking water or promote the growth of microorganisms. All the materials in the Progress® aqua satisfy the requirements of KTW W270, and in this way they comply with the Drinking Water.

The Progress® EMC easyCONNECT cable gland of A2 stainless steel is new to our product range and generally available from stock. in the assortment and available from stock. It ensures full control during installation and compensates for tolerances in shield thicknesses to always chieve a frim shield grip. The spring system provides for a very good contact of partially stripped shielding cables equally as well as for the contact of completely exposed cable shields which can be routed further. Immediately recognisable The Progress® EMC easyCONNECT cable gland of A2 stainless steel is immediately recognisable by the EMC/EMCf marking on its lower part. Optimal shield contact The powerful, protective clamping of the cable shield guarantees excellent shield contact and provides for the smallest possible transfer impedance. The shape of the contact spring not only allows for a large clamping range to the shield nut also for easy disassembly without damaging the EMC braid. Best possible sealing Two-part sealing inserts can be adapted to the existing cable diameter on site in just seconds and guarantee perfect sealing in compliance with IP68 and IP69. High resistance to torsion The integrated retaining grooves in the lower part and in the sealing insert grant against twisting. Short or long entry threads Short or long entry threads in metric types M12 - M63 allow secure anchoring of the cable gland with or without an EMC locknut.
