Among other things, the “notion.S - Comfort Panels” series fulfills the “WinCC Advanced” HMI functionality. As the notion.S - Comfort Panels are equipped with the latest operating systems, they are also prepared for future developments of HMI systems. The long-term available and maintenance-free technology includes compatible installation dimensions, exchangeable data carriers and a significantly higher performance capability. In addition to the TCP/IP connection, the Ethernet interfaces offer connection to SIMATIC-S5 and SIMATIC-S7 controllers via additionally available accessories. State-of-the-art capacitive touchscreen haptics and device optics promise the smartphone feeling common today.
