M12 Circular Connectors: The solution for industrial communication networks
M12 connectors meet the requirements of a continous cabling of industrial communication networks according to IEC 61918. The M12 circular connectors from Telegärtner are available as 4-pole D-coded connectors in Cat.5 and as 8-pole X-coded connectors in Cat.6A. The 4-pole D-coded M12 connectors are designed for data rates of up to 100 Mbit/s in the PROFINET environment. The 8-pole X-coded M12 connectors can transmit data with a data rate of up to 10 Gbit/s, The M12 product portfolio includes field assembly connectors which are suitable for connecting to both solid and stranded wire cables. Circuit board bulkhead sockets for various mounting possibilities and pre-assembled connecting cables in different configurations.
TOC IP69k Outdoor Connectors for outdoor cabling and harsh environments
For years, TOC connectors by Telegärtner have proven themselves in harsh environments. Ordinary IP67 rated industrial connectors offer protection against ingress of dust and moisture for indoor applications, but in outdoor applications there are additional, tougher conditions ordinary industrial connectors cannot support. Outdoor connectors have to be – weatherproof – frost-proof – UV-resistant. And they have to be absolutely water-tight to withstand continuous rain and submersion in puddles or mud. These require an IP68 rating.The robust housing made of nickel-plated brass is tough yet easy to install – closing, sealing and locking with just one twist. The stainless steel TOC series takes connetions to a new level. It offers all the benefits of the proven TOC connector series with nickel-plated brass housing and adds a lot more: The stainless steel housing (material quality 1.4404) is designed for extreme conditions. TOC stainless steel connectors are: • free of death space and easy to clean due to its smooth surface • for areas with high hygienic and cleaning requirements • acid-resistant • corrosion resistant even against salt water • lubricant free • highly abrasion resistant • free of welds • IP69K rated • field assembly with 100 screwing cycles. Typical Applications for Stainless Steel TOC: • Connection of outdoor access points or outdoor cameras • Connection of machines and systems in harsh environments (e.g. controls in tunnel construction, mining or on heavy construction equipment) • Connection of machines and systems with special hygienic requirements like in the food industry If a low IP code is sufficient, our more cost-effective nickel-plated brass version is a good choice. It is not only weatherproof and frost-proof, but also UV-resistant. In our standard portfolio, the brass version is also available with MPO/MTP®.
STX Industrial Connector Platform

Field assembly RJ45 connectors for home networks, industry and data center
With the RJ45 plugs of the MFP8 series, installers and network professionals can quickly and flexibly respond even to short-term requirements. Excess cable length and the space problems it causes are a thing of the past. Connections can be set up with centimetre precision both quickly and cost-effectively – without the need for special tools. The MFP8 connector series is the ideal solution for all applications with transmission rates up to 40 Gigabit Ethernet. In just 60 seconds, they can be connected to all common cable types without special tools. Whether in the office or in the data center, in industry, in security technology or in home networks: the MFP8 offers maximum flexibility for minimal effort. - Optimal cable routing through flexible cable outlet in 90° steps with the MFP8 4x90.the device connection. In the distributor, at the consolidation point or at the device connection: The MFP8 4x90 makes it possible to comply with the specified bending radius in every application. - The MFP8 RJ45 connector’s slim design allows high packing density on the DIN rail and in compact switches. The exceptionally sturdy screwed cable outlet is even compatible with thick and rigid cables. The proven IDC connection make it possible to connect wires with solid and flexible conductors securely. - Telegärtner’s MFP8-SL is the shortest RJ45 plug of the proven MFP8 series. Just 44 mm long – and just 35 mm when mated – it is the ideal solution for any application that needs high data rates but offers only little space. One of the many benefits of the short RJ45 plug is its robust and easy-to-install housing. It can be installed in less than 60 seconds without any special tools. The MFP8-SL is available in Category 6A for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Category 8.1 for 40 Gigabit Ethernet. It transmits the highest date rate that is specified for structured cabling with copper cables and still offers more than enough headroom.
