As a pioneer and market leader in the field of automated wire processing, Komax provides its customers with innovative and sustainable solutions for any situation that calls for precise contact connections. Komax manufactures series and customer-specific machinery, catering for every degree of automation and customization. Its range of quality assurance modules, test systems and intelligent networking solutions complete the portfolio and ensure safe and efficient production.
Komax concentrates primarily on three market segments: automotive, aerospace/railway and industrial.
Global but local
Komax is a globally active Swiss company with production facilities in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. It provides local sales and service support in more than 60 countries through subsidiaries and independent representatives. This provides Komax with a unique global presence and allows it to efficiently and competently serve its local and global customers at all times, thus ensuring the availability and value of their investments after equipment commissioning through standardized service processes. Proximity to its customers as well as short reaction and delivery times play a decisive role in its success, which explains why Komax has been consistently applying the motto “global but local” for years.
Products & services
Zeta 620
The Zeta 620 assembly machine provides wires on two process models fully equipped for control cabinet construction – including labeling and terminals. Manual processes take time and require properly trained personnel. The Zeta 620 wire processing machine simplifies the wire assembly process. It produces complete parts lists fully automatically and sorts and labels the cables so that they only need to be laid in the control cabinet. With modules, the process is adapted to your needs and up to 24 cable types and up to seven different ferrules are processed without changeover. The processing parameters are converted with TopConvert and sent directly to the machine at the Komax interface WPCS. This also eliminates the need to program articles manually.
Cut & Strip E400
The Cut & Strip Family E400 cut and strip machine impresses with its high performance, optimized operability and outstanding process reliability. Standard applications include the stripping of the outer jacket in several steps, as well as full and partial strips – also on both sides – with conductor cross sections from 0.14 to 16 mm2 (26 to 6 AWG) and cable diameters from 0.8 to 12.5 mm (0.032" to 0.49").
Strip Series B300
In its price class, the portable Strip Series B300 stripping machine opens up completely new possibilities for fast and at the same time reliable stripping of cables with cross sections from 0.03 to 8 mm2 (32 to 8 AWG).
Strip Series B340
The Strip Series B340 stripping machine boasts a wide range of performance. Equipped with four rotary X-shaped blades, it processes simple stranded wires and multiconductor cables with a cross section from 0.013 to 16 mm² (36 – 5 AWG) and a diameter of up to 9 mm (0.35”), thus achieving a strip length of 80 mm (3.15”) and a pull-off length of 40 mm (1.57”).
Mira 670
The Mira 670 wire stripping machine from Komax is the ideal solution for efficiently processing a wide range of wires and insulation materials. With the ability to process wires up to 26 mm in diameter and strip lengths up to 200 mm, it offers high productivity and excellent strip quality.

Strip Series B240
The Strip Series B240 is a programmable strip machine for the stepped processing of coaxial cables as well as the processing of multiconductor and single-conductor cables. Equipped with two rotary blades, it processes simple stranded wires and multiconductor cables with a cross section from 0.013 to 13 mm² (36 to 6 A WG) and a diameter of up to 9 mm (0.35”), thus achieving a strip length of 80 mm (3.15”) and a pull-off length of 40 mm (1.57”). Even challenging materials such as PUR, PVC, rubber, Teflon®, Tefzel® or textile glass braiding can be stripped cleanly and reliably thanks to the cutter head’s high-resolution movement axes. The B240 also processes micro-coaxial cables with a diameter of up to 0.8 mm (0.0314”) without the need for changeovers.
