Paper net - The sustainable cushioning alternative to PE foam – made by Knüppel
The paper net developed by Knüppel Verpackungsentwicklung has restoring forces that enable multiple impact loads. It has almost the same properties as PE foam. Various standardised drop tests, such as DIN standard 22 248, can be passed with this material without any problems. The paper net is also variable in terms of quality and strength and can be used for different component geometries and weights. Depending on the application, it can be reused multiple times. It enables the use of single-material packaging solutions even for heavy components and can be easily disposed of and recycled in waste paper after use. Possible areas of application include the automotive and supplier industry, mechanical engineering and companies that ship sensitive electronic components. In addition, the paper net can be used as flat padding in large load carriers and on pallets as a base or intermediate layer.

Paper Honeycomb System - Production of solid paper honeycomb mats for cushioning, blocking and void filling
Knüppel paper honeycomb system creates solid and flexible paper honeycomb mats directly at the packing station. The compressed source material expands by using the converter to form a solid paper mat with a three-dimensional honeycomb structure and hexagonal cells. This structure creates high pressure resistance and makes the paper mat especially resistant to impacts and permanent pressure stress.
FillPak Mini - Compact paper converter for cavity filling
The FillPak Mini is a compact paper converter for void fill. Its space-saving design allows for integration into any packaging environment, especially in confined spaces. Thanks to its light weight, the FillPak Mini stands securely even on packing table shelves. Where space was previously lacking for a machine-based solution, there is now a suitable alternative. The converter offers various operating modes: In single-feed mode (EDS), the FillPak Mini feeds the paper to the desired length and cuts it with its automatic cutting device. After removal, the machine immediately produces new void fill material. Other modes include pre-production with length and quantity preset, manual operation via foot pedal, and continuous operation.

AIRplus® air cushion systems for filling, securing, padding or wrapping
AIRplus air cushions can be produced in various shapes directly at the packing station as and when required, thereby saving valuable storage space. AIRplus machine solutions can be integrated into existing packing processes – including in combination with automated packing lines and storage containers at the packing station. Pre-packaged products can be perfectly secured in shipping cartons using AIRplus Void, as the large air cushions fill empty spaces perfectly. The medium and small air cushions in the AIRplus Cushion and AIRplus Bubble ranges are particularly flexible, enabling them to reliably cushion, secure and wrap a wide variety of products. With its innovative, wave-shaped structure, AIRplus Wrap film is an ideal alternative to traditional bubble wrap. Fragile goods can be wrapped particularly tightly with the air cushions and are thus protected as effectively as possible.

Cargosorb - Highly effective desiccant during container shipping
Cargosorb Pole is characterised by its high calcium chloride and starch content. The granulate mix is contained in a chain of bags made of a special membrane fleece that allows moisture to pass through to the inside. The granulate inside the bags transforms the absorbed moisture into a non-leaking gel mass. The stable corrugated cardboard form that encloses the chain of bags allows the container to be loaded quickly thanks to a pre-installed hook. With a total length of 106 centimetres, Cargosorb Pole can absorb up to four litres of moisture. The compact design ensures that the desiccant is concentrated in the upper part of the container – exactly where the moisture content in the container is highest. The trapezoidal construction is precisely matched to the corrugations of a container wall.

ENO®ergo - ergonomisches Handstretchen mit konstanter Sicherungswirkung
ENO®ergo is a system consisting of an innovative manual dispenser and a specially developed high-performance stretch film. The system meets two challenges in hand stretching - the strain on the user and the user-dependent quality of pallet securing - with ergonomic handling and an integrated pre-stretching system. ENO®ergo is very light: together, the dispenser and film often weigh no more than conventional hand stretch film. Due to the pre-stretching system, users need significantly less effort when stretching than with unwinders without pre-stretching. The lower pallet area can also be wrapped in an upright position. The integrated pre-stretching system works independently of the operator and enables a consistently high securing effect on the pallet. The foot wraps, which are important for connecting the packaged goods and the pallet, can be effectively produced with ENO®ergo. Three film types for different applications The foils developed for the ENO®ergo hand dispenser are available in different strengths and widths. All types are highly resilient and highly transparent.

ICB - reaktiver Korrosionsschutz - bedarfsgerecht, effizient und sicher!
Film packaging with volatile corrosion inhibitors (VCI) reliably protects against corrosion and facilitates storage and shipping processes. ICB is the new intelligent and patented active ingredient from EXCOR and only works when it is supposed to. If the corrosion-promoting moisture content within the packaging increases, the release of active ingredients also increases. If the exposure to moisture decreases again, the release of the anti-corrosion agent also decreases. This need-based adjustment increases the effectiveness of the anti-corrosion film. Since there is no uncontrolled evaporation of the active ingredients, a larger active ingredient depot is available for corrosive high-stress phases. In addition, it enhances the sense of well-being and security of the employees, since there is no increased evaporation of the ICB active ingredients from the film during the packing process. The prevention of active substance losses also leads to a resource-saving production of anti-corrosion films. Arriving at the destination, the packaged goods can be removed directly and put to use without any further process steps. The protective film formed on the metal surface evaporates without leaving any residue in less than an hour. The anti-corrosion properties correspond to TL 8135-0043, level 3. VCI dispenser capsule EMIBO nature EMIBO Natur VCI dispenser capsules combine effective corrosion protection with ecological sustainability: 100% natural cellulose with proven EXCOR VCI active ingredient. While the shell is made of tough cardboard, the VCI active substance carrier inside the capsule consists of multi-layered technical filter paper. EMIBO Natur has an innovative VCI chamber system for improved active ingredient circulation and faster VCI release from the inside of the layers. In addition to a quick build-up of the VCI protective atmosphere, EMIBO Natur offers an active substance reservoir that maintains its protective function even under extreme climatic stress. This was the birth of today's Granby Box. Today Siberian birch plywood guarantees the robustness and the patented steel hinge folding system the flexibility of this construction. Regardless of whether you want to send stacked individual or heavy packaged goods - you are well served with the GRANBY BOX. The boxes are delivered flat and stacked save up to 70% storage space. The stable birch plywood guarantees a stacking strength of at least 5,300 kg. Granby Box The base, folding ring and lid are simply erected in a few simple steps. Stretchfolienoptimierung durch Haltekraftmessung
Optimization of your stretch system through stretch test. As much as necessary, as little as possible: often more film is used than is needed. Consumption can be reduced by knowing about the optimal use of materials. We use a mobile, computer-aided testing device to measure the holding forces on a loaded pallet. In just a few minutes, we objectively compare different stretch films and machine settings and can draw direct conclusions about the degree of pallet security. In this way you can find out whether a reduced-thickness film with less material consumption is an option. With the measurement data determined, it is also possible to set different automatic stretch machines to a uniform winding pattern. Procedure of the stretch test: Analysis of the current situation: machine, film, consumption, holding forces Test with application-related film and setting recommendation Comparison of the test results from an economic, technical and ecological point of view.

KV BlueCast Unsere Eigenentwicklung: minimaler Folienverbrauch, maximale Stabilität
Die KV BlueCast ist eine Hochleistungsstretchfolie, die den Folienverbrauch optimiert und die Prozesssicherheit steigert. Auf Basis seines langjährigen Know-hows hat Knüppel diese Hochleistungsfolie entwickelt und bietet damit eine Stretchfolie, die über sehr gute technische Eigenschaften verfügt. KV BlueCast kann sowohl auf Maschinen mit Vordehnsystem als auch auf Systemen mit Magnetbremse laufen. Durch eine geringere Stärke im Vergleich zu handelsüblichen Standardfolien weist die Knüppel-Folie bei gleichem Gewicht mehr Laufmeter pro Rolle auf und spart durch weniger Rollenwechsel Zeit im Packprozess. Durch ihre technischen Eigenschaften ist die KV BlueCast in einem breiten Anwendungsspektrum einsetzbar. FleeceTech Maßgeschneiderte Korrosionsschutz-Schrumpfhauben für raue Bedingungen
FleeceTech Schrumpfhauben sind die optimale Verpackungslösung für Ihre Heavy-Duty-Frachten. Sie vereinen drei Produkte in einem: Die Kombination aus Schrumpffolie, Vlieseinlage und Korrosionsschutz ermöglicht zusammen mit der maßgeschneiderten Vorkonfektionierung einen effektiven Schutz für jede Kontur und Größe, insbesondere bei offenem Transport und Außenlagerung. FleeceTech Hauben bestehen in der Regel aus einer Bodenwanne und einer Stülphaube, die sich bspw. mit einem Reißverschluss zeitsparend verbinden lassen. Anschließend können die Schutzhauben mit einer handelsüblichen Schrumpfpistole reduziert und die Stabilität noch weiter erhöht werden, sodass die Haube auch bei komplexen Konturen wie angegossen sitzt. Wiederverschließbare Öffnungen ermöglichen den Zugang für Qualitäts-, Zoll- und Wareneingangskontrollen. Durch den in der Haube integrierten Korrosionsschutz und das innenliegende Vlies sind korrosions- und kratzempfindliche Oberflächen gleichermaßen bestens geschützt. Die Entwicklung der Hauben erfolgt kurzfristig rein digital anhand der CAD-Daten, die der Auftraggeber zur Verfügung stellt. Genäht werden sie in unserer Manufaktur in Ungarn.
