About us
The German Robotics Association, DRV, is an association of robotics experts and beginners. Together we want to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies, but also handicraft businesses, by supporting them in the use of robot technology.
Our mission:
- To promote the use of robotics in Germany
- To offer members a network for information and collaboration
- To strengthen the competitiveness of our members by using the automation potential
- Use the opportunities of digitization to develop new business potential
- Make robot automation easy and affordable for the end user
Our goal:
To counteract the shortage of skilled workers by using 1,000,000 robots by 2030.
The German Robotics Association was founded in 2020 and currently has over 90 members.

Roboterstammtisch
For everyone who likes constants, there is a new one: our regular robotics table Networking – discussing – (sometimes) giving lectures Every second Tuesday of the month at 4:00 p.m. Registration is not required. Simply clicking on the link is enough.

Roboterführerschein
The Robotics License is aimed at beginners and those interested in fully exploiting the potential of robots. Our target groups include machine operators, skilled workers, technicians, planners, students, and designers. In short: The Robotics License is a qualification for anyone involved in robotics. The curricula are modular in structure. Our goal is to create a uniform and verifiable level of competence for all training participants.
